A calmer route to the right person
Customers can recognise their situation, understand the service area and contact Dave directly without navigating a generic corporate process.
Positioning · local website · SaaS platform
How a trusted local operator gained a calm customer journey, stronger search foundations and a system built around the reality of running pest-control jobs.
Think Menai created the commercial positioning, bilingual website and live mobile-first operations platform for D Jones & Son Pest Control, with the platform designed to grow into a SaaS product for other operators.

The challenge
People may feel worried, embarrassed or unsure what they have found. The experience needed to reassure without minimising the problem.
Homes, holiday lets and commercial sites each bring different priorities, responsibilities and routes to action.
WhatsApp messages, handwritten notes, invoices, monitored sites and bait-station records created work beyond the visit itself.
What we built
We positioned D Jones & Son around calm, direct accountability. The website avoids stock pest imagery and fear-led selling, helping customers recognise what they have noticed, understand the right next step and speak directly with Dave.
The same thinking continues behind the customer journey. We built a live mobile-first platform for scheduling, customer records, job notes, invoicing, monitored sites and bait-station records. It runs in Dave’s own business first, grounding the product in real work before it is offered to other pest-control operators as a SaaS product.
A quiet-authority territory makes the owner-led difference visible and gives customers a reason to trust the next step.
English and Welsh routes, symptom-led guidance and prominent call or WhatsApp actions make help easier to reach on a phone.
Clear property, service and location signals support useful answers for searches across Anglesey and Gwynedd.
A mobile-first SaaS product turns the workflow behind visits, records and invoices into a repeatable system with wider commercial potential.
The observable result
D Jones & Son now has a joined-up route from local discovery and first contact to the records behind each job. The operational platform runs through a real pest-control business, with the foundations to serve others in the sector.
Customers can recognise their situation, understand the service area and contact Dave directly without navigating a generic corporate process.
Scheduling, customers, job records, invoices and monitored sites move from scattered admin into a mobile-first workflow.
The platform has been shaped around real pest-control work, then structured so the same operational value can be sold to other businesses.
The lesson for owner-led businesses
We can shape the positioning, customer journey and operational software together, so growth creates a stronger business rather than more disconnected admin.
